Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton
Well, here goes nothing. I did it. I started a blog. If you’re looking for a blog written by someone with years of blogging experience and expertise in writing then sorry – this is not the blog for you. No, this is a blog that will be from my heart. About my life as a pediatric resident and everything else that goes along with it. Mostly I started this blog for myself. To have something to look back on after my journey through residency to remind myself where I came from and the fun I had along the way.
Let me tell you a bit about myself: I am a 26 year old pediatric resident in the good ole south (I’ll refrain from putting where for now). I grew up in the midwest and that is where my family still lives and I miss them dearly. I am in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend who is also in residency (a blog post in and of itself) up North. My favorite activities include travel, soccer, weightlifting and reading so if ya’ll ever wanna hear more about any of those let me know. I wear my heart on my sleeve and am a fun loving, goofy, ginger who is always looking for a good laugh.
I hope this blog will help inspire someone (even just 1 person would be nice) to pursue their passions, try something new, step out of their comfort zone, and be a more confident and giggly human being!
– Lots of love

We must cast down these worldly thoughts and replace these with God’s psyche.

is gospel. https://discuss.mlandai.info/index.php?action=profile;u=9623

Congratulations on starting your blog, and best of luck as your continue in your residency training! Enjoy the journey…it will drag at times and fly by at others, but you will look back and appreciate the opportunity to see so many practice styles and approaches to management. Use each day as an opportunity towards becoming your best self!
